English Episode Title: A Bright Career Ahead — French Episode Title: Un avenir professionnel assuré

One of Tyrons' henchman; Mr. Graven, has come to the school under the guise of a swiss quantum science school. The others all have to play dumb to get them off their backs. A tracer was found on Lyoko, and the team have to dispense of it.

This episode contains examples of:

  • An Offer You Can't Refuse: Attempts this with Jérémie, but he smartly flunks the test. However, Laura, clearly rattled by Mr. Graven, doesn't fare so well, and falls into a trap question, which leads Mr. Graven to entice her into confessing for a guaranteed spot at the school.
  • Beneath Notice: Jérémie and Laura try to remain this way in front of Mr. Graven in their interviews.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • The events of Stowaway are referenced in their entirety, as the gang retrace their steps to find the tracer.
    • Odd is flying the Skid again, as he did in Betting on Odd.
  • EMP: when Odd shoots the tracer the first time, the supercomputer shorts out. It returns back online, but this makes Jérémie realise it has a security measure to stop the Lyoko Warriors from getting to it.
  • Exact Eavesdropping: Utilised three times:
    • By Jérémie: The first time to overhear Tyrons' goon talk about a tracer, and the second time enforced by Aelit, as she calls him but does not answer and hears that she's taking Mr. Graven to the factory.
    • By Aelita: The first time to make sure Laura doesn't give the game away about the lab, and the second time to call Jérémie, as mentioned above.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Jérémie succeeds in fooling Mr. Graven, while Laura doesn't succeed because she successfully answers some questions that require quantum physics knowledge to answer, which leads them to suspect Laura is in on the supercomputer.
  • Foreshadowing: Laura doesn't look like any of the avatars Mr. Graven shows her, however when Aelita barges into Delmas' office, Mr. Graven notices Aelita does. Also Laura still keeps the card Graven gave her of Tyron's institute and still seems interested on get enrolled there.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: Aelita brings Mr. Graven to the super computer in part to bide time for Jérémie, and so he can Return to the Past, and forget the days' events.
  • The Men in Black: In the sense Mr. Graven is a shady goon working for Tyron, who also wears the famous attire.
  • Shout-Out: Aelita says "Welcome to groundhog day!" to Mr. Graven before the Return to the Past is launched.
