- The Reveal: It’s revealed that Lelouch inherited Keith’s role as a part Galra member of Paladins. It’s also implied that the reason he his Geass gained new powers was due to him beginning to reconnect with his Galra heritage.
- Uneven Hybrid: The Wham Shot at the end of the chapter heavily implies that Marianne inherited part of Keith's backstory from Legendary Defender, meaning that Lelouch and Nunnally are each one-quarter Galra.
- Wham Shot: At the very end of the chapter, Sayoko is shown looking over a bundle Lelouch demanded she bring with Nunnally in the event he ever went missing. While Sayoko doesn't know why it is so important to Lelouch, she does know one thing - it's a knife.
