Breaking the Fourth Wall: Played up to nightmarish proportions in the climax when Candace falls asleep. She begins to have a nightmare in which she literally pushes through the fourth wall and stumbles into Cartoon Network HQ and meets the crew working on the show. Including JG Quintel himself whom Josh is designed directly after. Imagine how terrifying it is for a little girl to find out her entire life is a cartoon and her every choice was never her own.
Ink-Suit Actor: The voice actors that Candace stumbles into including Candace's own voice actor Jessica DiCicco are drawn to resemble themselves.
Or Was It a Dream?: As Emily takes Candice to bed, she says the same phrase from Candice's dream and the episode ends with Josh removing the pumpkin from his head and showing that he has sinister looking eyes and has similarly laugh.
Our Vampires Are Different: One story has Alex turned into a "Margaritaville Vampire", which is pretty much the same as a normal one, except he's repelled by a "No open toed shoes" sign instead of a cross.
