Go To

Sarah: Chuck?
Chuck: Yeah?
Sarah: Kiss me.
-Last lines of the series

Chuck enlists the help of his family, friends, and even the employees of the Buy More to stop Nicholas Quinn from destroying everything they have.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Ambiguous Ending: Do Sarah's memories come back? It's not made clear, but Sarah is obviously receptive to their return, which might be more important.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Jeff and Lester, of all people, save the day by hijacking an orchestra to play Take on Me to keep the bomb from going off while Chuck gets the Intersect and defuses the bomb.
  • Big Damn Kiss: Morgan has a theory that Sarah's memories will all come back if Chuck kisses her. At the end, they do kiss at Sarah's insistence, but we don't find out if it works.
  • Breaking the Fellowship: Carmichael Industries is apparently over, with its members all pursuing their own things. Morgan and Alex are moving in together, Casey is going after Gertrude, Ellie and Awesome are moving to Chicago and Jeff and Lester are moving to Germany after being discovered.
  • Call-Back: As befitting the finale.
    • Mark Pellegrino is back as the unnamed Fulcrum agent from Chuck Versus the Fat Lady, who appears to have gone into business for himself.
    • Chuck and Sarah's mission to recover the key components before Quinn takes them on a tour of references to their past, lampshaded by Chuck. There's a restaurant just like the one they went to in the Pilot , a Weinerlicious and an embassy party where they get closer to their target by dancing. Chuck lampshades it as destiny.
    • To disarm the bomb, Chuck has to deal with an old Prism Express laptop, same as in the pilot, and uses the same method to destroy it... at Sarah's suggestion. Finally, they end up on the same beach where their first date ended.
    • Jeffster! perform to buy time as Chuck and Sarah deal with something, as in Chuck Versus the Ring.
  • Flashback: Many, relating to Chuck and Sarah's history together, especially during the final scene on the beach where Chuck tells Sarah their story.
  • Hidden in Plain Sight: The final component of the key is hidden in the medal worn by the head of the Intersect project. It's been on General Beckman's chest all series.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: In Berlin, Chuck manages to shoot down Casey's helicopter.
  • Rule of Three: There are three components to the key that Quinn needs to assemble to debug the Intersect glasses.
  • Sadistic Choice: Chuck gets the Intersect glasses from Quinn's body. There's one shot left, which Ellie can use to restore Sarah's memories. However, there's a bomb under General Beckman's seat that will kill everyone unless Chuck disarms it... for which he needs the Intersect. He uses the glasses and disarms the bomb, but may have got Sarah back anyway.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Quinn's reaction to Jeffster! destroying his plan is a "done with life" face.
