Ruth has accidentally dyed her hair green! In between commercials of his favorite TV show, Milo ends up using a math solution and makes Ruth bald with a fat head! But it’s alright in the end when she makes the local nightly newscast!

Tropes in this episode:

  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • Milo tries using an all-natural formula that includes lemon juice, an avocado and some goat drool to fix up Ruth's hair. What he didn't know is that after he rinses it off, her hair becomes completely bald as that stuff should only stay on for about five minutes according to Lizbeth.
    • Milo then uses an instant hair growing hat to get Ruth's hair to grow back faster. Even if the hat actually works, the drawback is that the hat may cause a freakishly giant head however, so as a result, Ruth's entire cranium becomes huge.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Milo uses his "Bird Brain" to call the TV authorities for the Screech and Win contest, which led to a reporter to arrive so that Milo can show her how Ruth moves things with her mind. Ruth then uses her mind to control the crossing guard and makes him do a dance. This impresses the reporter so much, that she will be even bigger than Naomi in the contest thanks to her new telekinetic powers.
  • Look Behind You: Milo distracts the guard by claiming that he has a giant tarantula under his arm that is about to sink his fangs into his armpit, which frightens him and stops the traffic.
  • Mind over Matter: After growing a huge head after using the hair growing hat, Ruth gains telekinetic powers thanks to a math solution by Milo.
  • My Hair Came Out Green: Ruth wants to dye her blonde hair just like Naomi, her favorite star from the TV singing contest Screech and Win, but her big sister didn't do it right which led to her hair becoming green.
  • Running Gag: When Milo and Lizbeth tries to cross the road to get to Ruth's, the crossing guard forbids them as they need a group of three people to stop traffic to cross. Hilarity Ensues every time they cross back and forth (due to Milo catching up with his homework during every commercial break) such as using Max as the third person to cross, Milo using a rod to force the guard to stop traffic, and tricking the guard by claiming that he has giant tarantula under his arm.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Because of the guard telling Milo and Lizbeth that they can't cross unless there's a third person (not even for a kid in trouble), Ruth suddenly shouts her call for the Captain to help for the third time loudly.
Ruth: UH-OH! DON'T MAKE ME SAY IT AGAIN!!!

Whine, whine, whine. According to Milo’s mom, that’s all he does these days. Milo decides to try and look at the sunnier side of life and become more optimistic in his view. But while helping Rutger find his lucky Fuzzy Bug sent off to a thrift store by his mother, will Captain Flamingo be able to remain positive while battling adversity?

Tropes in this episode:

  • Big "NO!": Happens to Rutger after a lady bought his lucky Fuzzy Bug from the thrift store.
  • Cursed Item: As a result of losing his lucky Fuzzy Bug plush, Rutger starts to have a lot of bad luck.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: To get the bug back from the lady, Milo uses his "Bird Brain" to take what happened, put her in a killer presentation and let her have it. He then tells the lady that without the bug, Rutger will still get lots of bad luck. However, Milo decides for the lady to keep it to give it to her daughter. After the lady renewed her faith thanks to Rutger, his luck turned around and the Fuzzy Bug people gave him a lifetime supply of money and Fuzzy Bugs and wants him to become their spokesperson.
  • Human Cannonball: Rutger is shot out of a cannon after an elephant throws him there at the carnival.
  • Rake Take: Shortly after telling Milo and Lizbeth about his lost lucky Fuzzy Bug, Rutger then steps on a rake and falls into a hole in his backyard, thus starting his trail of bad luck.
