Little Saint Nicky
McGee is desperate to get Santa Claus OUT of Lakebottom, after he crash-lands in camp. If he realizes that McGee was the one who sent him that mean letter, it's goodbye presents...forever.
Tropes:
- Amphibian at Large: A giant frog grabs Santa with his tongue and pulls him into its mouth. Squirt then uses his tongue to catch a giant mosquito to trade to the frog for Santa.
- Arbitrary Skepticism: Gretchen refuses to believe in Santa, despite the fact that the camp is run by a zombie and a bigfoot, along with all the other supernatural creatures she’s experienced during her stay.
- Christmas in July: Camp Lakebottom gets a visit from Santa Claus in the middle of summer.
- Clothes for Christmas Cringe: The year before, McGee received underwear from Santa for Christmas. He was so angry that he wrote a rather rude note on the underwear and sent it back to him. Now he’s trying to avoid Father Christmas out of fear of being put on the naughty list.
- Easy Amnesia: After his sleigh crashes, Santa gets amnesia, forgetting his identity and thinking Camp Lakebottom is Camp Jinglebottom, a Santa training camp.
- Apparently this is not an unusual event for the Jolly Old Elf.
Elf: He loses his memory, like, all the time. You know how old this guy is, right? - Flashback: McGee has one to tell Gretchen and Squirt why he doesn’t like Santa, complete with lampshaded Flashback Effects.
- Hawaiian-Shirted Tourist: While on vacation, Santa trades out his classic red suit for a red Hawaiian shirt.Gretchen: Oh, puh-lease, Squirt. We all know there’s no Santa. Especially not one wearing a tacky Hawaiian shirt.Squirt: That’s how all the holiday characters dress on summer vacation!
- Man-Eating Plant: Santa nearly gets swallowed by one after thinking it was mistletoe.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: McGee accidentally shoots down Santa’s sleigh while he’s passing by Camp Lakebottom on vacation.
- Santa Claus: Santa unintentionally visits Camp Lakebottom when McGee shoots his sleigh out of the air with an arrow.
- Santa's Existence Clause: Despite seeing his flying sleigh crash right in front of her, Gretchen doesn’t believe in Santa and Squirt spends the episode trying to convince her. She eventually comes around.
- Time for Plan B: With Santa getting amnesia, McGee is relieved that he won’t have to resort to Plan B. Plan B apparently involved real bees, as he throws the beehive he had in his hands away and it lands on Armand.
- Underside Ride: The elf trying to hunt Santa down to restore his memory hitches a ride underneath his sleigh.
- Word Shmord: McGee's reaction to Armand telling him to concentrate.McGee: Concentrate, shmoncentrate.
- You Monster!: Squirt says this to McGee when he tells them he wants Santa to leave Camp Lakebottom.
