Calvin's family goes on another summer camping vacation. Thanks to an accidental fumble between Calvin and his dad, an important duffle bag full of perishable items gets dumped in the lake, and the vacation only goes south from there.

- Blind Without 'Em: Downplayed. Calvin's dad breaks his glasses at the start of the trip and manages to muddle through the rest of the vacation without them, but his painting abilities take a significant hit.
- Horrible Camping Trip: Not quite as bad as the previous one, but it's very clear that Calvin's mom doesn't like camping any more than Calvin does, and even Calvin's father has a bad time due to the loss of supplies and his glasses.
- Idiot Ball: Calvin's dad hands a large duffle bag full of fragile and perishable supplies over to Calvin, over the water, without even finishing telling Calvin to be careful with it.
- Tempting Fate: After having to do some diving to the bottom of the lake to recover their important supplies, and still losing some, Calvin's mom remarks that the trip can only improve. Cut to Calvin noticing that his dad accidentally crushed his glasses underneath some equipment.
