Tropes
- Brass Balls: Or, more properly, Brass Circles, but the commentary is to this effect when Mr. Game & Watch parriesExplanation Lucina's Shield Breaker.
- Curb-Stomp Battle:
- Donkey Kong vs. Rosalina was never even close.
- Incineroar vs. Luigi was within Luigi's grasp for half a second, but otherwise it was so Incin-favored that they didn't even show the endof the match.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Toyconvict was in the cage on the stage where Shulk vs. Lucina took place, and he was even mentioned by name. He wouldn't show up until season 2, however.
- Establishing Character Moment: Again, many.
- One of the most notable was how Rosalina got Curb Stomped by Donkey Kong in game 1.
- Despite the fact that he actually debuted in the Pilot Episode, Incineroar (later PG|Incineroar) didn't get much characterization until he started making his characteristic nasty and just plain raw plays in game 3 of this episode.
- This episode established Lucina as a very hype, very competent fighter who almost always misses with her Final Smash.
- Foregone Conclusion: The top comment on the episode is about Skulk vs. Lucina and is visible without opening the comments, so unless you're watching in full screen or trying not to look at the comments, you automatically know how all of their fights up to that point will turn out.
