Lou is invited to a conference for camp directors, where she has been asked to give a speech. She allows Destiny to come with her but soon regrets that decision.
Plot II
Matteo tries to talk to Gwen, whos thinks she's avoiding him because during their "date" he "sat in chocolate".
Plot III
As a family tradition, Ava's family surprises each other with birthday parties like the one with the birthday pretends to not know anything. Like every other year, she expects to get a party so she tells Noah doesn't want a birthday party but expects him to throw her one.
This episode provides examples of:
- Birthday Episode: For Finn and Ava
- Broken Smile: Ava gives one when she realizes the birthday party planned was not for her.
- Continuity Nod: Destiny mentions that others campers recently had to be saved from a bouncy house about to go over the waterfall, mentioning it was strangely common, a reference to this happening to her, Finn, and Matteo in the second episode of the previous season, "Let's Bounce!"
- Happy Birthday to You!: The song is sung in full to Finn.
- Toilet Humour: The Matteo/Gwen plot is all about this. Gwen leaves their picnic at night (he wanted to show her his telescope) after he makes a comment that Gwen thinks is him reacting to her just farting while Matteo thinks she left because she thought the chocolate he accidentally sat on was something else.
