When Lou discovers the diary of the camp founder, Jedediah Swearengen, Destiny and Ava are shocked to learn that her hero was a traitor, and they try to keep it a secret from Lou at all costs. Meanwhile, Matteo ends up upstaging Finn of his cup-stacking talent, and Gwen dislikes Noah's favorite movie but lies and says she liked it.
This episode provides examples of:
- Big "WHY?!": Done by Lou under the use of Auto-Tune when Ava and Destiny reveal the awful truth about Jedediah.
- Dark Secret: One of the plots revolves around Destiny and Ava discovering Jedediah's Secret Diary and discovering a big secret — Jed quit Kikiwaka in terms of failure and started Camp Champion, which Lou hates. The two struggle to keep the secret from Lou throughout the episode.
- Rebuilt Pedestal: At the end, Lou realizes that Jedediah's desire to leave Camp Kikiwaka behind was understandable even if she didn't agree to it.
