Tropes:
- Big "NO!": Ludwig unleashes one of these when Bowser Jr. accidentally drops the giant easter egg into the lava.
- Call-Back: Bowser Jr. finds the Koopalings in the volcano so he can enact his revenge on them for the diss track they made of him back in the season 1 finale.
- Camera Abuse: In the last scene of the episode, the volcano erupts and sends Bowser Jr. flying into the camera, resulting in the screen being cracked.
- Oh, Crap!: The Koopalings react this way when Bowser Jr. appears after they find the giant easter egg.
- They also react this way when they realise that the volcano is about to erupt.
- Something We Forgot: The Koopalings manage to escape from the volcano before it can erupt, but Morton feels as though they've forgotten something. Cut to Bowser Jr. regaining consciousness inside the volcano which promptly erupts.
