Racial tensions erupt in Kimberly's classroom. The teachers evaluate each other. Ronnie and Zach grow closer. Harvey and Colin clash over their differing methods.

- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Danny's advice to Kimberly ultimately results in Steven's arrest at the end of the episode. To wit, he tells Kimberly to disregard Steven's order that she not say anything at the parent/teacher meeting. Kimberly convinces Steven to let her tutor Patrick instead of suspend him, but her intentions backfire horribly. Patrick's father later attempts to physically assault Steven but ends up knocking himself out and landing in the hospital, where he falls into a coma. The next day, Steven is arrested for his trouble.
