Booth shoots a (model) clown and has to go to therapy, so to investigate a murder in Florida, Bones teams up with an FBI Agent named Sully. A girl's spring break ended with her being raped and fed to alligators, and the murderer turns out to be a former priest.

It's not so much that Epps died, Booth has killed before and more or less learned to live with doing so, but because he doesn't know if Epps died by accident because Booth couldn't hold him or if in the moment he let him go.
