We take a look at the planet Sekayoru, the home planet of the Ninjage, the species of Kagenobi.
- Bookends: The war between the Ninjage and Nikkobushi started when the leaders attempted to make peace and shake hands, causing the accidental injury that instigated the war. When the Plumbers successfully broker peace between the two planets, the new leaders successfully shake hands using a special forcefield provided by the Plumbers.
- Ditto Aliens: With the exception of different heights and eye colors, all the Ninjage look nearly identical to each other.
- Foil: The Nikkobushi are this to the Ninjage in almost every way. Both of these species are from neighboring planets and wanted to explore off their own worlds, but discovered they could survive off-world for long on their own and created special clothing to help protect them. However, while the Ninjage are styled after Ninja and have shadow-themed powers, the Nikkobushi are more based on Samurai and have light-themed powers.
- Foreshadowing: The closing notes mention that Flash may one day gain the ability to become a Nikkobushi.
- My Suit Is Also Super: The Ninjage created special clothing to protect them from the sun, which also travel with them when they travel through the shadows instead of falling off them. The Nikkobushi similarly created special armor that helps them to conserve their solar energy longer so they can travel through space longer.
- Poor Communication Kills: When the Ninjage and Nikkobushi first made contact with each other, their leaders initially wanted to establish peace. However, due to a mistake, when they tried to shake hands the Nikkobushi leader accidentally burned the Ninjage leader's hand. The other Ninjage mistook this as an intentional attack and killed the Nikkobushi leader, instigating the two hundred year war.
- Weakened by the Light: Because Sekayoru has 99% of the sun's light blocked out the Ninjage are weak to sunlight. They created a special clothing to protect them from the sun so they can travel off-world without dying from a "super sunburn".
