- No Ending: The duo are trapped in the cement, and as Anderson is still trapped at the hardware store, things simply end there.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: The pair trick Anderson by wearing glasses.
- Shout-Out: Anderson thinks the duo are named Buffcoat and Beaver. This gag begun when Senator Fritz Hollings accidentally referred to the duo as such to Janet Reno. In response, the show instituted its long Running Gag where everybody gets their name wrong.
