Go To

Beavis and Butt-Head steal Tom Anderson's credit card and use it at a pet store.

Tropes:

  • Bland-Name Product: Anderson's credit card has an embossed hologram of a bird, similar to real-world Visa cards.
  • Credit Card Plot: The episode follows the boys stealing Tom Anderson's credit card and using it to buy a host of pets. At the hotel, Anderson finds out that his credit card was stolen after he used it to open his toolshed the duo locked.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness:
    • In the pet store scene, Butt-Head has a GWAR t-shirt instead of his usual AC/DC shirt.
    • Marcie's name is spelled as Marcy.
    • When Anderson discovers his credit card was stolen, he performs a very deranged Wild Take as he yells. This would not happen in later episodes.
  • Expy: At one point we see Archie Bunker on television.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: One commercial the boys watch stars a woman very reminiscent of Sally Struthers in a parody of her "Feed the Children" infomercials.
  • Shout-Out: The episode opens with Beavis and Butt-Head mocking the opening of The Brady Bunch with their own twisted lyrics.
  • Wild Take: Anderson performs one when he discovers that his credit card was stolen.
