Oracle learns that someone is trying to hurt Commissioner Gordon. Barbara Gordon can't let that happen and uses bait that the criminal in question can't refuse: her.

- Dropping the Bombshell: After the kidnapper tries to get her to call her father, Barbara drops the reveal on him that they caught her because she let them, and she just sent all his information to the Gotham police department.
- Extremely Protective Child: Although the villains don't know it, Commissioner Gordon's daughter is a superheroine. She gets herself Captured on Purpose to take down the operation from the inside.
- Handicapped Badass: She might be paralyzed from the waist down, but Barbara isn't helpless. Far from it.
- Idiot Ball: Barbara points out that it's a bad idea to leave your hostage alone with your computer, as she used it to alert the police and find out all of his information.
- I Never Told You My Name: Barbara's captor is stunned when she calls him by name. She smugly points out that he shouldn't have left her in a place where she could access his personal laptop.
- In Medias Res: The episode opens with Barbara getting held at gunpoint in a strange room. Then it goes to her internal monologue about how matters ended up like this.
- Platonic Declaration of Love: Barbara and her dad exchange "I love you's" after the gang is captured.
- Play-Along Prisoner: Not only are Spoiler and Orphan ready the moment Barbara gives the signal, but she makes it clear that she could still defend herself the whole time (which she demonstrates when she casually steals the gun of the man who was threatening her and turns it on him).
