• Bullying a Dragon: When first encountering Bane, Wildcat does not think much of him, making jokes at his size and not considering him a threat like Batman does. Of course, Bane quickly proves him wrong.
• Chekhov's Gun: The batarang Batman used to stop Bane from running is used again to stop him and save Batman.
• Have We Met?: Krull asks this to Booster in the museum at the end of the episode, feeling like Booster is familiar.
• History Repeats: Krull holds a grudge against Booster for pouring coffee on him. When the two meet at the end with no recollection of each other, Krull once again remembers Booster after interacting with him.
• Hoist Hero over Head: As is custom, Bane does this to Batman, ready to break him. Thankfully, Wildcat stops him with a batarang.
• Look Behind You: After trapping Bane with a batarang, Wildcat makes to jokes to Batman about the villain while ignoring him. As Bane injects himself with Venom, Batman constantly warns Wildcat to look at their opponent.
• Oh, Crap!: Wildcat has this reaction upon seeing Bane Hulking Out.
• Tempting Fate: Wildcat thinks that Bane would be easy to take down, despite Batman's warnings. Bane quickly shows that he is not to be messed with when he injects his Venom.
• "You!" Exclamation: Krull lets one out after realizing that the museum guard he was talking to was Booster.
