- Brought Down to Badass: Tony destroyed all his armours in the previous episode, but remains a capable leader.
- The End... Or Is It?: The final scene has the Red Skull presenting the Tesseract to Thanos.
- Enemy Mine: To get back at the Skull for his betrayal, the Cabal joins with the Avengers.
