Summary

I feel like slappin' a bud today

Aware that the Juto are now loose, Sonoi seeks Jin for advice. While believing it was impossible for the Juto to be freed, Jin gives a word of warning — beware of the Juto's origami. Meanwhile, having been found at a restaurant, Tsubasa is under pursuit by Kenji Sayama, who has been acting oddly. Tsubasa manages to escape to Tsuyoshi's home and collapses there. Unable to bring him to a hospital for treatment, Tsuyoshi decides to seek Taro for help.

Tropes

• Agony of the Feet: Kiji Brother steps on some caltrops strewn by Shuriken-Ki, which carries over into his civilian guise and has him use crutches for the rest of the episode.
• Bitch Slap: Haruka does this towards Tsubasa when he mistakes her for Natsumi. He ends up getting a red handprint on his face that lasts for about two times the others have to leave to help Don Momotaro.
• Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Miho taking her note and making an origami with it - which is in the shape of a crane.
• Chekhov's Gun: The salt that Tsuyoshi put on his head is kicked down by Tsubasa, which coincidentally falls into the MoTW's eyes, allowing the team to take out his clones.
• Deus ex Machina: Miho returns home earlier than expected and is surprised to see Tsubasa in her house, not knowing who he is. She then suddenly has a personality shift, able to pinpoint the cause of Tsubasa's illness, removes it and instantly cures Tsubasa just in time for him to join in the battle against Shuriken-Ki.
• Internal Reveal: Due to the DonBlaster also transporting the salt that was on Tsuyoshi's head, Shinichi and Haruka find out that Tsuyoshi is Kiji Brother. At the same time, Tsuyoshi finds out the duo are also Donbrothers.
• Improvised Weapon: Saru Brother throws Kiji Brother like a shuriken and it works.
• Musicalis Interruptus: Normally, whenever the ending plays, right before the chorus, the episode would end and we would get our On the Next. However, in this episode, it immediately interrupts right before this point to reveal that Miho is part of the Juto.
• The Reveal: The reason that Jin is in a virtual prison is because he was punished to be the guardian of the human realm and Noto Layer due to his crime.
• Sick Episode: Because of his encounter with "Kenji", Tsubasa ends up sick due to the Juto's origami he was forced to swallow. He gets better thanks to Miho extracting the origami from his mouth, allowing him to join the battle by the end of the episode.
• Slapstick: Tsubasa and Haruka's fight goes both ways; when Tsubasa clearly sees his hallucination of Natsumi as Haruka, he kicks her out of his sight.
• Spotting the Thread: Shinichi and Haruka keep Tsuyoshi distracted with a superstitious cure for Tsubasa involving balancing a bucket of salt on one's head and praying for the recovery to happen, while they sneak off to help Don Momotaro. When Kiji Brother gets teleported to the battle as well, they notice the exact same bucket of salt on his head along with the fact that he's still praying for Tsubasa's recovery, putting two-and-two together to realise that Kiji Brother is actually Tsuyoshi.
• Two Lines, No Waiting: The A Plot revolves around Haruka, Shinichi, and Tsuyoshi trying to cure Tsubasa of his illness with a number of strange methods, while also having to teleport to where Taro is at when they can. The B Plot has Taro trying to fend off Shuriken-Ki by himself as the trio try to cure Tsubasa.
• Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Shuriken-Ki's host gets pushed over the edge when Taro easily shows him up, taking it as an insult to his training.
• Wham Episode: Miho is hinted to be connected to the Juto.
• Wham Shot:
  • "Kenji Sayama" reveals his Jūto form, before stuffing an origami into Tsubasa's mouth.
  • Miho suddenly acting oddly when she sees Tsubasa, taking out the origami that was poisoning him and crushing it in her hand.
  • The end of the episode has Miho anxiously waiting, only to rip out a note and fold it into an origami - an origami in the shape of a crane.
