A girl plays with her Handyman dolls, and has some interesting theories about how Autodale is run.
Children's Toys contains examples of:
- A Day in the Limelight: The short follows a young girl with an active imagination, who shows her Handyman action figure to a fellow Handyman. Because of some blood on the robot, she realizes that Autodale is truly a terrible, horrible city. But the Handyman is able to convince her it's all in her head.
- Gaslighting: The Handyman is able to convince the little girl that the horrors of Autodale are merely a product of her active imagination.
- Spotting the Thread: Subverted. It looks like the bloodstain on the Handyman is going to make the young girl realise that Autodale is not all it seems... But the robot is able to convince her that she's just imagining things.
