500 years pass and Asura's body has been excavated and worshiped by a small village, coming back to life as he encounters a young girl resembling Mithra. Not long after, Karlow arrives and begins blatantly killing humans for Mantra.
Tropes:
- Chase Scene: Right after meeting the village girl, she is immediately kidnapped by Gohma, leading to Asura chasing after them to rescue her.
- The Force Is Strong with This One: Kalrow and his forces only show up because they detected a concentration of mantra. When they realize that it's Asura, they start killing the villagers for their souls, deeming Asura irrelevant to their work.
- Fossil Revival: Having been preserved in stone after his body fell into the lava after Yasha killed him, Asura resurrects from his old body preserved in a mountainside, on display at a shrine that all but the village girl (named Ahria according to Word of God) avoid.
- Hologram: When Asura tries attacking Kalrow, it is revealed that he was just a holographic projection.
- Martyrdom Culture: Asura gets a first-hand look at what the Seven Deities have been doing with humanity when they kill the villagers one by one to harvest their souls, all but the lone Village Girl simply letting them, Kalrow claiming that he will "guide [them] to Heaven" before Gohma can take "tarnish [their] souls... to Naraka."
- Stop Worshipping Me: After witnessing Asura kill the Gohma Crusher single-handedly, the humans begin bowing to him as a god. If he were any other Demigod he would let them, but all it does is piss Asura off.
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: The human girl that Asura meets at his place of resurrection has an uncanny resemblance to his daughter Mithra, something Asura picks up on immediately.
