"Come 'ere, Kelly! Give me a kiss!"

Kelly: I know it seems like Ash's ruined his life... okay, maybe he has a little, but everything he's done since he knew you existed was to protect you.

Ash has finished dismembering Brock's body and is about to take a swig of Shemp's beer when his hand malfunctions, spilling it all over himself. Brock's ghost appears to his son, saying that someone has disturbed his grave, and sees pieces of his chopped up body. Ash tells him about Brandy and that she's run off from home, and the older Williams tells him about something he tried to tell the night he died.

Kelly drives to the house on her lonesome and finds Brock's body and the carnage. Suddenly, Brandy shows up, startling her, and tells her about Ash killing Brock. Kelly prevents her from leaving and takes her along, relating to the girl's plight by telling her about her own parents dying. Suddenly, a possessed Pablo crashes into the truck on a motorcycle and goes through the windshield, attacking Brandy. He bites Kelly's leg, leaving a bleeding wound, but the girls briefly shake him off. They run into Ash's trailer and barricade themselves in, while Pablo attempts to break in, and with no way to contact Ash, the girls think of a plan.

Ash heads into the store accompanied by Brock's ghost while suddenly it starts snowing and the sun is shining. Brock explains that they're in his memory from around 2012, where a mysterious man walks into the story and asks about Ash, telling that he's in grave danger. Brock rebuffs the man who shows him the pages of the Necronomicon and the ring of the Knights of Sumeria. The older Williams still doesn't believe the knight and kicks him into the store cellar. After seeing the man lying motionless on the floor, Ash and the past Brock assume that he's dead. The owner nails the door shut, much to Ash's anger, and leaves, while the ghost explains that he was looking out for his son even when he was away. Ash returns to the present and unlocks the door, but doesn't find the corpse in the cellar. Equipping the chainsaw, he goes down in and finally finds the remains and sees writings on the walls made in blood. Ash finds the pages and decides that Pablo may know more about what's written. He looks at one of the symbols and sees his daughter's dead friend Rachel begging him to let her out. Meanwhile, the Necronomicon in Ruby's house opens itself and a page becomes covered in blood. Tendrils emerge from the ceiling and attack Ash, but he manages to free himself with the chainsaw. Ash mentions Ruby's alias of Mrs. Prevett, and Brock tells him he's known a family by that name and that he knows their address. He goes back to Heaven and gives his son a brief encouragement.

Ruby uses the Necronomicon to talk to her former ally Kaya who's been banished long time ago, and she says the portal to the Netherworld has been established and the Dark Ones will be free, so they need to find the knight who has unleashed them. Kaya begs Ruby to free her once she finds a suitable host. In the forest, Ruby finds Deadite Dalton and briefly restores him to life to interrogate him. The knight refuses to talk and blows off his own head before he's turned back into a Deadite.

Brandy still refuses to have anything in common with Ash, so Kelly gives her a pep talk and tells her that her school counselor is actually Ruby. Suddenly, her leg wound starts hurting, and she is briefly incapacitated, while Pablo keeps on pounding on the trailer. They start hearing his voice inside the trailer, and Kelly takes off the bandage to reveal Pablo's face growing from the wound.

Ahs goes to Ruby's house and calls her own, but nobody answers. He hears singing from a locked room and goes to check. There he finds a woman chained to a sink and a baby in a crib sucking on a severed thumb. Ash tries to free the woman without waking the child up, but his hand malfunctions again and he rips the sink off, waking up the child.
