While everyone is out buying the latest Henry Skreever book, Prunella has ordered a special monogrammed limited edition coming all the way from England, only to receive a Braille copy by mistake. Now she's desperate to get a printed copy and to avoid any spoilers.
Tropes
- Accent Upon The Wrong Syllable: Prunella mispronounces Persephone as "PER-seh-phone" with Mr. Ratburn correcting her. Marina admits at the end of the episode that she'd still be pronouncing it that way.
- Book Ends: The beginning of the episode has Arthur thinking Prunella got an advance copy of Henry Skreever and the Cabbage Mayhem and being dismayed about it. In the end, upon realizing that Prunella hasn't said anything about the book all week, he's dismayed when he assumes that she's already gotten the next Henry Skreever book.
- Irony: Prunella got the advanced copy of "Henry Skreever and the Cabbage of Mayhem" and thought she would be able to read it ahead of time. But it turns out she bought the advanced copy that reads braille. So in short time, it's the other way around: everybody else gets to read the actual book before her, while she's still stuck waiting for a copy she can actually read.
- Noodle Incident: As Prunella calls the Neeka & Caldro Books company, Dora Yonkers correctly guesses that she was sent a Braille copy and says that she's not alone, indicating that other people have had this problem.
- Shout-Out: The Henry Skreever book series is a parody of Harry Potter.
Pal and Kate can understand and talk to each other. They must work together to find the figurine for a wedding cake Dad just made before it gets shipped off.
