Master Shake buys a new iPod. Of course, he can’t afford an iPod, and Frylock discovers he actually bought an “IAMAPOD”, a sentient alien vegetable pod that longs to devours and replicate Shake.

- As Himself: Hardcore band Chickenfoot as themselves.
- Black Comedy Rape: The pod’s creepy behavior towards Shake is evocative of date rape.
- Blue-and-Orange Morality: The pod has some bizarro morality where it can only eat somebody after befriending or respecting them. It takes Shake out on a night of drinking to get in his good graces, and bails out once it figures out Shake doesn’t share his taste in music and is also a huge Jerkass. Eventually it gets around this by eating a musician it likes.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: The Chickenfoot bass player gets gruesomely and painfully eaten alive by the pod while his band mates uselessly watch.
- The End of the World as We Know It: The pod apparently consumes the world and replaces humanity with clones of Chickenfoot bassist Michael Anthony, with the Aqua Teens being the last survivors we see.
- Shout-Out: The episode’s a Whole-Plot Reference to Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
- Slain in Their Sleep: As in Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the pod can only eat you if you fall asleep. Frylock is able to save Shake’s life by shooting him with a BB gun whenever he starts to doze off, and he and Meatwad survive the apocalypse by drinking lots of coffee.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Frylock and Meatwad attempt to converse with Carl about the body snatchers infesting his lawn, only for him to start screeching horrifically and pointing at them. Frylock declares they need more coffee.
