A prisoner pig tries to escape from his cell with all kinds of crazy attempts. Will he manage to free himself without going mad?
Tropes:
- Cardboard Prison: The Prisoner Pig manages to escape from prison on the first night he's sent there, although doing so is portrayed as a struggle.
- Chekhov's Gun: Twice in a row, in fact. While trying to escape from jail using the sewer system, the Prisoner Pig ends up in the cell of another prisoner, who is trying to fly out of jail using a propeller hat. At the end of the episode, the second prisoner bursts out of (what's left of) the first prisoner's toilet, having attempted to use the same method of escape, and drops his propeller hat. The Prisoner Pig then uses said hat to fly out of his cell.
- Cutlery Escape Aid: When the Prisoner Pig receives a meal, he attempts to dig his way out of prison using the spoon. He ends up running into Terence along the way, prompting him to immediately give up and turn back.
- Full Moon Silhouette: The final shot of the episode is the Prisoner Pig flying in front of the moon as he successfully escapes.
- The Guards Must Be Crazy: Actually averted, which is a bit surprising given the pigs' usual track record. The prison guards are quite competent, managing to recapture the Prisoner Pig every time he tries to escape and taking away his method of escape afterward. The only reason the pig managed to eventually escape is because they were distracted by a more dangerous prisoner.
- Hat of Flight: At one point, a muscular prisoner is seen attempting to escape by flying with a propeller hat (though he's too heavy for it to support him). Eventually, the Minion Pig uses that very same hat to escape, this time successfully.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: The Prisoner Pig's attempt to dig his way out of prison doesn't get far before he encounters Terence. As soon as he sees the behemoth bird, he runs back to his cell in terror.
- So Proud of You: After being apprehensive earlier in the episode, the Goliath Pig expresses great joy when the Prisoner Pig escapes using his propeller hat.
- Stomach of Holding: The Prisoner Pig stores a file to cut through the bars with in his stomach.
- Toilet Teleportation: The prisoner pig the episode focuses on attempts to escape the prison compound by flushing himself down his cell's toilet. He ends up in the cell of another prisoner. The first prisoner flushes himself back down, only to emerge in one of the guards' toilets.
