Chuck is on guard duty during a heavy storm, but doesn't want Red to find out that he's scared of lightning.

- Fear of Thunder: Chuck is revealed to have a fear of lightning in this episode. The pigs exploit this by using a flash camera and a gong to make him think there's a thunderstorm, causing him to bury himself in the ground.
- Gratuitous English: Chuck says "Oops!" after accidentally causing Red to get electrocuted.
- Hostile Weather: Eventually, a real thunderstorm occurs, and the pigs are struck by lightning after taking advantage of Chuck's fear of it throughout the episode. It also happens to Red when Chuck gives him an umbrella.
- Kick the Dog: After driving Chuck to bury his head in the ground, the Minion Pigs continue to play their gong just to torment him further.
- Mobile Shrubbery: The pigs hide from Chuck using a fake bush.
- Ostrich Head Hiding: The pigs' fake thunderstorm eventually causes Chuck to become so afraid that he buries his head in the ground.

- Safe Under Blankets: At one point, Chuck tries to hide from the "lightning" by covering himself with a blanket. When Red strolls by, Chuck tries to convince him that he was going to give the blanket to the eggs to get him off his case.
- Time Master: Chuck once again activates his time-slowing ability to avoid lightning strikes while he chases down Corporal Pig.
- Umbrellas Are Lightning Rods: After recovering the eggs, Chuck gives Red an umbrella to shield him from the rain. He promptly gets struck by lightning.
