With summer approaching, Spencer learns that South Crenshaw High is about to be turned into a magnet school that will no longer focus on athletic programs, and everyone will have to enter lottery just to attend. He and his friends campaign not to let this happen. Meanwhile, Billy finds out that the boosters are offering to reinstate him in exchange for a favor, Jordan and Simone work out their feelings, and Olivia is struggling not to relapse into drugs.
