Mechanicles creates a valet-style Robot named Gregarius as a gift for the Sultan... except it's a ploy to take over Agrabah by using "Greg" to hypnotize the royal family into being his slaves. Genie and Carpet, the only ones unaffected, must expose Mechanicles' treachery and save Agrabah.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- "Eureka!" Moment: Mechanicles rants about how taking over the world would be so much easier if people didn't fight back... which inspires him to build Gregarius, who has the capability to hypnotize others.
- Hypnotic Eyes: Gregarius has these, which allows him to convince others that he's their friend and that they would do anything for him... even make him Vizier.
- Immune to Mind Control: Genie and Carpet, as magical beings, aren't affected by Gregarius' hypnosis. It helps that Carpet doesn't have any eyes.
- Laser-Guided Karma: For trying to turn his friends and the whole of Agrabah against him, Genie turns Mechanicles' mechanical scorpions against him to chase him out of the city.
- Punny Name: Gregarius is one letter off from gregarious, meaning a sociable person.
