After a recap of the events of Princess of Deadpool and the Episode 7 adaptation, it cuts to the end of school and the coming of summer vacation. Haruka is here in presenting her science conference about dinosaurs, alongside showing the audience a live cloned Albalophosaurus named Murphy.
Following the presentation, Shu and his friends stumble to meet Ms. Kawakami and learning about the former classmates that attended Shujin Academy. As summer vacation starts, Shu's group explores Shibuya before venturing into Café Leblanc in meeting the remnants of the Phantom Thieves (Ren, Ann, Makoto, Futaba, Akechi, and Sumire). It is a gloomy state, since most of the Persona 5 cast have been wipe out by the Apocalypse Virus, though there are survivors of course. None is more hurt than Makoto, who experience PTSD and lashes out in anger.
Then, they hear news of an experimental monster named Miss-danuki is on the loose. At nightfall, the raccoon girl makes love with her victim, while a panda-themed vigilante makes her appearance.
