The twentieth episode of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Tails adopts a squishy creature from another dimension named Goopster, who has an extreme appetite for chili dogs and sucks up anything with his mouth. Robotnik captures Goopster and tries to use him against Sonic and Tails, while Sonic tries to reunite Goopster with his parents.
This episode provides examples of:
- Agony of the Feet: Grounder accidentally drops a bag with the pieces of his and Scratch's wrecked planes on Robotnik's foot, putting Robotnik in pain.
- Attack! Attack... Retreat! Retreat!: This line from Scratch:Scratch: I got you now, sucker!

Scratch: I guess some sucker got me! - Big Eater: Goopster eats so many chili dogs, he makes Sonic look like he's on a diet.
- Bittersweet Ending: At the end of the episode, Goopster is reunited with his parents, but Tails begins to miss him. To cheer Tails up, Sonic offers to take him to lunch, but when Tails tells him he isn't hungry, Sonic says he'll get him another pet after lunch (but not an alien this time).
- Bridge Logic: Sonic cuts down a tree so he and Tails can get across a canyon. However, as Robotnik, Scratch, and Grounder are following behind him, he cuts the tree down the middle to send them crashing into a cliff.
- Comedic Underwear Exposure: As Robotnik, Scratch, and Grounder are clinging to the doorway for their lives as Goopster tries to suck them up, Goopster manages to suck Robotnik's pants off, exposing white boxer shorts with red polka dots.
- Disguised in Drag: Sonic disguises himself as a maid named Helga to free Goopster from the machine Robotnik traps him in.
- Dramatic Thunder: A rainstorm happens as Sonic confronts Robotnik, Scratch, and Grounder in the spot where the portal to Goopster's dimension opened up. Sonic tries to get lightning to strike to re-open the portal.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Robotnik is in tears when he remembers Mr. Bobo, his pet cockroach from his childhood. Yes, even Robotnik admits that "there's nothing more sacred than the bond between a boy and his pet".
- Help, I'm Stuck!: Sonic gets his foot caught between two rocks, making him an open target for Scratch. Tails eventually manages to get him out of there with Goopster distracting Scratch.
- Kicking My Own Butt: Grounder does this to punish himself for dropping the pieces of his and Scratch's wrecked planes on Robotnik's foot. When Robotnik refuses to believe Scratch and Grounder's story about Goopster, he orders Grounder to keep kicking himself.
- Impact Silhouette: Grounder accidentally drops Robotnik when he tries to drop bombs on Sonic, and Robotnik leaves a hole shaped like his body in the ground when he hits it.
- Picky Eater: Goopster won't eat anything but chili dogs, even though Sonic tries to give him a variety of different foods to eat.
- Pepper Sneeze: To avoid being noticed by Sonic and Tails, Goopster poses as a pepper shaker, but this backfires when Sonic accidentally picks him up and tries to use him as one. Sonic complains that there's no pepper, and Tails sprinkles pepper onto Goopster, causing Goopster to sneeze and expose himself.
- Sticky Situation: Sonic uses Tails' three-week-old gum to create a slingshot that launches Grounder's plane backwards and into a target Sonic paints on a canyon.
- Tempting Fate: Grounder warns Robotnik not to make Goopster angry, and Robotnik asks him, "Why? What's he gonna do? Devour my laboratory?". Sure enough, when Robotnik makes Goopster angry, Goopster does just that.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Chili dogs are the favorite food of not only Sonic himself, but also Goopster.
- Unsuccessful Pet Adoption: Tails adopts Goopster as a pet, but Goopster proves to be a handful, devouring dozens of chili dogs and sucking up anything that gets in his way if he gets angry. At the end of the episode, Sonic reunites Goopster with his parents, but Tails feels bad about letting him go. To make it up to him, Sonic offers to get Tails a new pet after lunch (but not an alien this time).
- Vacuum Mouth: Goopster uses this to suck up anything in his path, especially if he gets angry. This is how he saves Sonic from Scratch, and when Robotnik finds out about this, he orders Scratch and Grounder to capture Goopster so he can use him for his own nefarious purposes.
- Watch Out for That Tree!: Sonic tricks Grounder into flying into a tree during a rainstorm, so lightning will strike him and open the portal to Goopster's dimension.
