A fed up Lumpy Space Princess leaves the woods for a glamorous career in babysitting.
Tropes:
- Apathetic Citizens: No one in the Candy Kingdom seems too worried about Sweet P going on a rampage if no one does his bedtime routine properly.
- Babysitter from Hell: While LSP is never mean to Sweet P, she immediately locks him in his room with a cold pizza so she can lounge around the house. It's when Sweet P runs away that LSP rushes to go find him so she can put him to bed properly.
- Continuity Nod: Sweet P mentions the "false comet" - aka Martin's spaceship.
- Death Glare: Mr. Pig maintains a more or less continuous one at LSP.
- Donut Mess with a Cop: LSP encounters some Banana Guards eating donuts.
- Dreaming of Things to Come: Sweet P dreams of the approaching comet, as well as a "fake comet with a man in a space suit", referring to Finn's dad Martin.
- Horse of a Different Color: The Banana Guards ride around on creatures that resemble jelly beans with a pair of feminine human legs.
- Impact Silhouette: Sweet P leaves one in his bedroom wall when he goes looking for someone to help him get to sleep.
- It's All About Me: LSP talks about how she "deserves" to live in luxury in Tree Trunks and Mr. Pig's house and later "accepts" their nonexistent offer to be Sweet P's live-in nanny because Sweet P bonded to her and would be devastated if she left (Mr. Pig and Tree Trunks toss her out).
- Madness Mantra: "Will you be sweet to me?" sounds very sinister when you remember it's coming from the being who used to be (and could potentially return to being) the Lich.
- Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: It's not clear if Sweet P's bedtime ritual actually helps prevent the Lich from coming through or just a non-magical, albeit elaborate, way to get him to bed.
- Street Urchin: The raccoon tells LSP that she's vermin, a parasite, trash, etc. She seems to accept it (though she's back to her extravagant ways in the next episode).
- Through the Eyes of Madness: It's not clear if the raccoon is really talking or if it's just LSP's guilty conscience attacking her. The fact that it sounds a lot like LSP and its mouth doesn't always match the dialogue seems to lean toward the latter.
- Vagueness Is Coming: The comet is nearly approaching Ooo and Sweet P's dreams are most likely to come true.
