• The fact that the girls look more...mature...when they transform into their guardian forms is frequently commented on.
  Hay Lin: [noticing her new wings] What have we got behind us?
  Cornelia: [looking directly down at her chest] What have we got in front of us!
  • In "N is for Narcissist" Cornelia accidentally absorbs the rest of the team's powers. The combined power of all five guardians gives her a substantially bigger bust. Caleb looks delighted.
  • In "W is for Witch" the girls are able to pass off their guardian forms as Halloween costumes. Cornelia's mother disapproves of the "padding."
    • Later in the episode, Irma runs into her crush, Andrew, who is very complimentary towards her costume.
    Irma: But you told the whole school trick or treating was for babies!
    Andrew: Who turns down free candy?
    Irma: What about dressing up?
    Andrew: [eyeing her up and down] I'm beginning to think that's the best part.
• In "It Begins" Hay Lin newly-awakened elemental powers cause her to sneeze hard enough to wreck her entire room. She's worried this is somehow related to puberty.

  Hay Lin: This isn't one of those "becoming a woman" things, is it?

• In "A Service to the Community" the image of an unconscious Will with white paint on her face is rather...questionable.
• In "Divide and Conquer" Will has a Freudian Slip while inviting Matt to spend time with her on the ski trip.

  Will: Would you like to ski down me? With! With me!

• In "Stop the Presses", Hay Lin's underwear is revealed when her skirt flies up while she's riding an invisible wild boar.
• In "Ghosts of Elyon", Will opts to sleep with no clothes on while she's hiding out by herself at an abandoned house.
• "E is for Enemy" has a scene where Irma and Cornelia are sleeping together, in a closet. Cornelia is draped across Irma, resting her head on one breast while her hand is on the other, while Irma seems to be stroking Cornelia's hair. Best not to look too deeply into this...
• In "J is for Jewel" Taranee is unavailable to fight, so Matt offers to fill in for her. Will replies she'd rather not see him "filling in her tights."
• Probably the most surprising and explicit was in "O is for Obedience" when Nerissa explains how she masqueraded as Julian's lover in order for him to impregnate her so she could have a child. Which pretty much amounts to rape.
• In "T is for Trauma" Nerissa casts a spell that makes almost every man fall obsessively in love with her on sight, including Taranee and Hay Lin's boyfriends. Cornelia mentions how furious she would be if Caleb was in their position, and Will feels the need to remind her Nerissa is his mother.
  • Later in that same episode, Nerissa tries to break Hay Lin's spirit by having her grandmother, now young again and under Nerissa's control, steal Hay Lin's boyfriend.
  • Let's not forget that this entire episode has Nerissa, a very old woman, glamouring herself to look like a teenager in order to seduce both adult men and teenage boys.
• In "Y is for Yield" Hay Lin refers to Phobos stealing Nerissa's power during the school Halloween carnival as his "Halloween Coming-Out party."
• In "Z is for Zenith" Cedric swallows Phobos in order to steal his power. The team are somewhat concerned about the digestive implications.

  Hay Lin: Did he just...

  Irma: Swallow Phobos whole? Oh yeah.

  Matt: So don't wanna be around when he—
