(Victor hears the doorbell and answers the door, revealing an intellectual kid who looks just like Cory)
Chauncey: Um, excuse me, sir. I came to retrieve my pooch, Shakespeare. He lost his tags, and I lost him.
Victor: (laughs) Nice try, Cory, but you can't keep the dog.
Chauncey: Actually, my name is Chauncey. And I must insist that you relinquish Shakespeare at once.
Victor: Cory, stop the nonsense! I mean, except for the bad wig, it's a good disguise. But come on, where'd you get this wig, huh? (starts to pull Chauncey's hair) Did you, like, glue it on or something?
Chauncey: Hey! Unhand me, sir!
(at this point, Cory and the dog walk into the room)
Cory: Dad, what are you doing to that kid?!
Victor: Nothing, Cory. (beat) CORY?! (lets go of Chauncey) Um... Uh, uh... I'm so sorry. I thought you were my son.
Chauncey: Is this the way you treat your son?!
Victor: No, no!
