“So some of the legends are correct?” Ms. Carson asked, “Full moon, and silver for example?”
“Yes,” Eli said simply, “though some Feline Weres also carry some of the other catty traits like reacting to catnip, milk, fish, and so on.”
I gave Eli a wan look, “Oh great, you could have told me that before.”
“We do not keep catnip around the house,” she snorted and then laughed, “Ben used to try and win arguments by ambushing me with it, needless to say it was banned.”
Ms. Carson smiled and made a note, “Intoxicating?”
“Very much so, but we react to it like cats, playfully or mean,” Eli smiled and rolled her eyes at me, “in small doses it can be fun, too much and you cannot focus at all.”
