- Kevin happens upon a werewolf pack, and manages to make peace with all of them by playing with them like he'd play with a dog.
- Luna acts like a dog all the time, even when not in werewolf form.
- Even though Luna is clearly a werewolf, she's always called a dog anyway.
- Downplayed:
- Luna occasionally makes vocalizations more common to dogs than wolves, such as barking and whimpering.
- Luna doesn't necessarily act like a domestic dog, but is still much more docile than usual depictions of werewolves.
- Luna only acts like a domestic dog when in a tamer mood. She's ordinarily very dangerous.
- Justified:
- Luna is a weredog, not a werewolf - of course she'd act like a domesticated pet.
- Werewolves don't have to be evil in this setting.
- Luna does not have the instincts of wolf behavior. She acts more like a dog because she's more familiar with domestic dog behavior.
- Inverted: Werewolves act like cats.
- Subverted: Luna starts wagging her tail when she sees Kevin, only for her to pounce to maul him.
