Basic Trope: A character can make any piece of malfunctioning tech work effortlessly.
- Straight: Bob manages to fix Alice's computer to work just by touching it.
- Exaggerated: Every piece of tech within a 50 mile radius of Bob works flawlessly.
- Downplayed: Bob fixes Alice's computer by completely taking it apart and putting it back together.
- Justified: Bob is a Technopath who has yet to realise his powers yet. If he wants a piece of tech to work, then work it will.
- Inverted: Walking Techbane
- Subverted: Bob touches Alice's malfuctioning computer, and it works... for all but a second. It immediately fizzles back to non-function, and Bob's further attempts at fixing have no effect.
- Double Subverted: While Bob fails to fix the computer (perhaps because it's an Imported Alien Phlebotinum), his work on the computer somehow cause all of Alice's other broken electronics to fix itself.
- Parodied: A computer is smashed to smithereens, but after Bob touches it, it's as good as new.
- Zig Zagged: ???
- Averted: Bob can't simply zap a broken piece of technology to work. He has to dismantle the machine and do a proper diagnostics to even begin any fix-up work.
- Enforced: The writer isn't a tech whiz and doesn't want to spend time (incorrectly) describing the cause of the technical problem and how it is fixed.
- Lampshaded: "How on earth did you do that?" "I'm just that good, I guess."
- Invoked: Charlie calls Bob up to fix his phone after hearing Alice talk about him.
- Exploited: Bob starts up a business and makes money for his services.
- Defied: Bob absolutely refuses to fix Alice's computer.
- Discussed: ???
- Conversed: ???
- Implied: Bob walks in to Alice's house to fix Alice's computer and walks out rather quickly.
