Basic Trope: Person, typically a woman, that's made out of slime.

  • Straight: Alice is a girl made of thick goo.
  • Exaggerated: The women of every species are made out of slime.
  • Downplayed
    • Alice looks like a normal woman from a glance, but is actually living goo.
    • Part of Alice is made from goo.
  • Justified:
    • Alice is a nanomechanical being unable to flawlessly imitate a human, thus coming off as a structured gooey woman.
    • Alice isn't actually goo, and instead a collection of smaller organisms.
    • Alice is actually the sphere inside the slime body, having molded the goo into a body.
    • Regular slimes are the larvae of humanoid slimes, who take on the characteristics of the first sapient being they meet who doesn't immediately spread them on toast for whatever reason.
    • An undifferentiated humanoid biomass is Alice's Shapeshifter Default Form.
  • Inverted
    • Alice is a flesh and blood woman.
    • Alice is either a Robot Girl or golem girl.
  • Gender-Inverted: Alexander is a boy made of thick, green goo.
  • Subverted: Alice looks like a standard slime girl, but in actuality she's just cursed to look like that with none of the benefits.
  • Double Subverted: ...Her half human daughter with Bob however functions just like a real slime girl.
  • Parodied: Alice is a Blob Monster possessing Tertiary Sexual Characteristics which somehow manages to convince the guys while all the girls fuss over her "perfect looks".
  • Zig Zagged: Alice looks like a slime girl, but is actually an advanced shape-shifting gynoid. Her daughter with Bob seems to be a straight up goo girl, but eventually discovers her abilities are just unrefined. Alice's Evil Knockoff however...
  • Averted: Slime either can't be shaped or given intelligence.
  • Enforced: "Vampires and werewolves are so... cliche! Thus let's make our heroine Alice living goo!"
  • Lampshaded: "You're a master wizard and you made... a goo girl? What, couldn't find yourself a date?"
  • Invoked: Emperor Evulz decides to make his mooks living goo to stand out from all the necromancers and conjurers.
    • Being malleable masses of naturally amorphous goo, slimes can look mostly any way they want at any given time. Taking on the shape of cute/hot girls obviously made of goo in social interactions with humans allows them to look human enough to trigger a positive reaction, without falling deep inside the Uncanny Valley, and so is a deliberate choice for many of them.
  • Exploited: Bob pursues the goo girl Alice, knowing the children will be stronger than either species.
  • Defied: "You want to make me living goo? I'm... sure that'll work, but I prefer being solid and bathing much more."
  • Discussed: "You know, I never understood the mechanics behind goo girls. I mean, why do they even have feminine forms?" "Well, since they're probably magic or advanced technology... I figure their creator just likes the idea or is one."
  • Conversed: "Goo girls, seriously!? Sure I can understand vampires, zombies, werewolves and heck even robotic ghost nekomata. But goo girls!? How is that scary!?" "Well, if you think about it, their existence is clear proof of something older, whereas vampires and werewolves could just be an accident. Plus given their physical nature they're actually much harder to kill, and unless there's a river nearby they have no weaknesses."
  • Implied: When harmed Alice's body doesn't show wounds, and she feels really squishy for a normal person. Nonetheless she doesn't act like a typical slime girl, and can easily be explained as a fast healer.
  • Deconstructed: Being made of goo, Alice is incapable of most biological functions such as smell and touch. Thus consuming a container of hazardous waste, she can't even tell why her body is breaking apart.
  • Reconstructed: Though slime girls like Alice lack numerous biological features, this also make them excellent for hazardous work since they can't be harmed easily or repulsed by odors amongst others.
  • Played For Laughs: Alice is carefree and huggy, her friends frequently getting swallowed by her body with Bob always being highly embarrassed.
  • Played For Drama: Bob questions why Alice looks like a girl, to which she's simply confused. Eventually learning she was once a woman, Bob is horrified Alice was unwillingly transformed.
