Basic Trope: A character's last words contain a swear word.

- Brownyn decides to Face Death with Dignity, and that includes trying to say something, anything, vaguely inspiring. That includes not saying insults, not even if they would "punch up" the importance of her statement.
- Big Bad Evulz hits Brownyn very hard, very fast in a very painful area while she is distracted with her pet/baby/sweetheart, and all she is able to articulate as last words (if she can say anything at all) is "aiiiiirrrrggggghhhh!"

- Carlos informs Della that he's going to go see Bronwyn, because she's dying. When he comes back, he says, "Bronwyn's dead now- and I think my ears may be falling off from the language in there!"
- Carlos is extremely reluctant to tell the rest of his friends (and Della's little daughter Emma) which were Della's last words, and even when he goes out and says them, it's an obvious paraphrase or whole-sale invention.
- Played for Laughs: Ethan quietly murmurs "So far we're at Pre-Death Curse number 73. Let's see if we can make it to 100 before this villain's defeated." from the back of the room.
- Played for Drama: Bronwyn's last words are, "All my life, I've been fucking pressured into being a fucking lovely lady by assholes and bitches, and that's a horrible way to live, ass hats. Now that I'm fucking dying, I'm going to let it all free like I could never do when I was alive. Goodbye, bastards- I'll see you all in hell." She's crying the entire time.
