Basic Trope: A scene that parallels giving birth.
- Straight: Bob is seen going through the typical hallmarks of a Screaming Birth, such as being told to breathe and on occasion yelling "You did this to me!" at Alice. In reality, he's just turning into a were-creature and he's trying to manage it.
- Exaggerated: Same as above, except for some reason the process of turning into a were-creature is practically exactly like giving birth. Bob even wonders if his were-beast form will be a boy or girl, and thinks of names for it.
- Downplayed: The incident actually is the equivalent of a species giving birth (such as two robots building a baby robot with spare parts).
- Justified: Bob was in a lot of pain at the time, so it's understandable that he'd be yelling a lot.
- Inverted: Someone actually is giving birth, but it looks like something else.
- Subverted: It's revealed that Bob is actually a Mr. Seahorse...
- Double Subverted: ...However, despite the fact that he can get pregnant if he wants to, he's not at the moment.
- Parodied: Why is Bob's transformation into a were-creature so similar to giving birth? Because he's a were-seahorse!
- Zig-Zagged: ???
- Averted: There are no scenes that resemble someone giving birth.
- Enforced: "We should add a scene that parallels something else as a joke." "How about a scene where someone looks like they're giving birth?"
