Basic Trope: Two or more characters EACH order something for all of them. Mainly built around Ambiguous Syntax and confusion.
- Straight: Alice orders two beers, one to her and one to Bob. However, Bob also orders two beers, assuming Alice's beers are for herself.
- Exaggerated: Ten characters order ten beers each for the others.
- Downplayed: Alice buys a beer for Bob. Bob buys one for himself, assuming the beer was for Alice.
- Justified: Bob planned to buy two beers for him regardless of Alice's order.

- Subverted: Bob realizes Alice's order is for both of them and cancels his own order...
- Double Subverted: ...Or instead buys two beers regardless as a sign of gratitude for Alice's order.
