  • Downplayed: Alice's eyes are slightly cross-eyed, but it isn't noticeable unless one looks closely.

  • Inverted: Alice's eyes are always facing perfectly forward.
  • Subverted: Alice was purposefully crossing her eyes as a prank.
  • Double Subverted: Once everyone leaves, Alice returns her eyes to their real crosseyed state, and worries that her "just a prank" lie won't hold up.
  • Parodied: Alice routinely walks into walls because her pupils are so far apart.
  • Zig-Zagged: ???
  • Averted: Nobody has eyes facing in different directions.
  • Enforced:
    • Can sometimes be the result of an animation error.
    • Sometimes can be used to make a character look funnier.
  • Lampshaded: "Hey, you, with the wall-eyes!"
  • Invoked: ???
  • Exploited: ???
  • Defied: Alice decides to get treatment for the condition.
  • Discussed: ???
  • Conversed: ???
  • Implied: Alice is never shown on-screen, but characters often mention that she has crossed eyes.
  • Deconstructed: Alice has vision problems due to having this.
