Basic Trope: A baby is very smart
- Straight: Bob the Baby knows the equivalent of a high school or college graduate at 6 months old.
- Exaggerated:
- Bob knows literally everything as a newborn.
- Alternatively, Bob the Fetus.
- Downplayed: Bob can speak in sentences at 1 year old.
- Justified:
- Bob has been given Applied Phlebotinum to increase his intelligence.
- Reincarnation exists in this universe, and Bob is using his previous life's knowledge.
- Inverted: Bob the Adult is extremely dumb.
- Subverted: It was told Bob was smart and we hear just babbling.
- Double Subverted: ... but the babbling means complex thoughts in baby language.
- Parodied: All the babies in the show are extremely smart. When the babies enter toddlerhood though, there's a chance of them either becoming average intelligence or they retain their intelligence.
- Zig Zagged: Bob is smart, but Alice the Baby isn't. Then comes along Charlie the Baby, who is smarter than Alice, but dumber than Bob.
- Averted: Bob the Baby knows the equivalent of... a baby.
- Enforced: "We need to make Bob smart, but he's just a baby! Just give him Applied Phlebotinum to make him smarter."
- Lampshaded:Alice the Adult: "Wait, this is Bob the Baby?! He's so.. smart!"
- Invoked: Bob's parents give him Applied Phlebotinum to increase his intelligence.
- Exploited: Bob fakes being stupid because nobody will suspect Bob's secretly a Kid Hero. (or in this case, Baby Hero.)
- Defied: Bob's parents are given the chance to give Applied Phlebotinum to Bob in order to increase his intelligence. They either deny it or use it only when Bob's no longer a baby.
- Discussed: "So Bob's here. He might be smart."
- Conversed: "I bet that Bob will be smart! He's a baby!"
- Implied: Bob is seen reading things that older people should be reading.
- Bob the Baby: "Back to Brainy Baby."
