Notably, certain Splatfests involved certain deities from other worlds and franchises. Next up was [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Blue]], with Blue winning. Marie revealing her love of Vulpix aside, certain Inklings became interested in becoming Pokémon trainers themelves. Next up was Spongebob vs. Patrick, of which Patrick won the Splatfest. Spongebob and Patrick met up with the Inklings with this info, and became fast friends. They introduced them to the delectable Krabby Patties but are disappointed with the difficulties in bringing them to Bikini Bottom due to the Inkling's weakness to water. Later, there were three Splatfests involvement of the TMNT, with Raphael and Donatello beating Leonardo and Michelangelo, with Donatello winning the entire competition. The turtles struck a quick bond with the ink people, finding them to be radical and sometimes give the pizza. There also was a three part Splatfest featuring Hello Kitty and her friends, with Hello Kitty and My Melody beating Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin, with My Melody winning the competition. Hello Kitty also gets along with the ink people even if she's not into the chaotic Turf Wars.

The Squid Sisters and Off the Hook host the events, with each member of the duos representing the different teams. Matches can get extremely heated as competitors race to get on top. Of course, regardless of who wins, the winning results of the Splatfest don't actually change laws due to the Pantheon's law system differing from Inkopolis'. Notably, certain Splatfests involved certain deities from other worlds and franchises. The first crossover Splatfest held was [[Pantheon/{{Transformers}} Autobots vs. Decepticons]], of which Decepticons won. [[Pantheon/WeaponizedAppendages Megatron]] used this knowledge to rub in his "victory" in [[Pantheon/{{Technology}} [[Pantheon/MachineryAndTechnology Optimus Primes]]'s Prime's]] face of which the latter shoved him away. Next up was [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Blue]], with Blue winning. Marie revealing her love of Vulpix aside, certain Inklings became interested in becoming Pokémon trainers themelves. Next up was Spongebob vs. Patrick, of which Patrick won the Splatfest. Spongebob and Patrick met up with the Inklings with this info, and became fast friends. They introduced them to the delectable Krabby Patties but are disappointed with the difficulties in bringing them to Bikini Bottom due to the Inkling's weakness to water. Later, there were three Splatfests involvement of the TMNT, with Raphael and Donatello beating Leonardo and Michelangelo, with Donatello winning the entire competition. The turtles struck a quick bond with the ink people, finding them to be radical and sometimes give the pizza. There also was a three part Splatfest featuring Hello Kitty and her friends, with Hello Kitty and My Melody beating Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin, with My Melody winning the competition. Hello Kitty also gets along with the ink people even if she's not into the chaotic Turf Wars.

*Walter Mitty is a man living a mundane life while being bossed around by other people in his personal and work life. To mentally escape from such problems, Walter imagines himself as a highly skilled man engaging in various outlandish adventures. As much as he would like to be in the kinds of fantasies he dreams about, Walter has found himself taking part in equally odd real-life adventures as a result of being asked to find an important item. Such escapades would lead to Walter learning more about what he can really do when given the right motivation and being able to stand up for himself amidst others who push him around.
*In his head, Walter has experienced many great adventures and while he hasn’t actually gone through them in reality (or at least compared to the number of daydreams he’s had), there were still plenty of interesting events waiting for Walter. He would get a letter from someone from a far-off place one day promising that his dreams would come true and it didn’t take long for his mind to imagine the greatness that would await him in that far-off world. It would be just as quick for Walter to get back to reality thanks to someone close to the letter-sender being present at a scheduled meeting with Walter and getting his attention. The meeting didn’t go too badly once Walter had his attention focused on the guest and after the conversation ended, the guest said that what was written in the letter was true about far more interesting worlds and that sooner or later, Walter would be able to get more involved in his fantasies than what was previously possible.
*Much like Walter, Snoopy has a habit of imagining himself as some genius in a particular field, mainly writing in Snoopy’s case. Besides his daydreams in stuff such as being a pilot, Snoopy has a habit of helping out Charlie Brown when the latter is facing a problem of some kind, even if Snoopy’s advice doesn’t always work out for the hapless blockhead. While Walter’s daydreams are partially inspired by him having a job working for a pulp magazine publisher, the stories Snoopy writes on his typewriter are sometimes an outlet for the imagination that’s inside the dog, even if the stories aren’t always good. Thanks to them sharing similar kinds of daydreams, Snoopy and Walter got along great with each other, with Walter providing Snoopy advice on his stories thanks to his time working for a pulp magazine company.
*There were plenty of individuals who had a very imaginative mind that would result in them thinking about wild adventures and/or simply not being completely aware of the reality they’re actually in. A little girl named Alice found herself in a wacky world known as Wonderland as a result of her imagination and Walter found himself befriending her, especially after hearing about some of her more unorthodox adventures pertaining to her mind and how she grew during those instances. That’s not to say that there weren’t entities whose imagination would lead to trouble as was the case with Don Quixote, who believed himself to be a heroic knight fighting a great evil despite said evil not existing. Although Walter can get lost in thought a bit easily, he’s still a bit aware of reality unlike Quixote who seems to be regularly stuck in such delusions. While Walter’s daydreams involving Quixote are just as adventurous as what Quixote would imagine, in reality, Walter has shown some concern towards Quixote’s reckless delusions and would humor him as a traveling companion who would help Quixote and Sancho Panza on their journeys as a means to make sure Quixote is doing alright.
*For every person who has some sort of whimsy going on in their thoughts, there was another who had something darker going on in their mind. As over-the-top as Walter can get in his thoughts, he’s worried about those who have something worse in their heads and is just as frightened of people who are obsessed with the darker aspects of the human mind. When it comes to people with dark thoughts, he is sympathetic to those who have tried to overcome such challenges such as Hal, who was at a low point in her life due to being pushed around a lot and explored her mind in order to make things better for both herself and her teacher who made the effort to befriend her. The fact that it was possible to go inside someone’s mind both intrigued and frightened Walter given the potential to see and possibly alter what’s going on in someone’s head, himself included.
*If Walter is someone living an ordinary life who imagines himself as something better, then Kusuo Saiki is his polar opposite: a high school student with great power surrounded by madness who prefers living a regular lifestyle. Granted, Saiki had to get used to having psychic powers and a lot of weirdness around him, but it didn’t stop Walter from sometimes imagining himself as a psychic with comparable abilities every now and then. With how much of a regular lifestyle Walter actually lives through, Saiki preferred it if Walter didn’t try to deliberately act out his fantasies in the real world even if Walter did live through some exciting adventures. Seeing Walter’s mindset and lifestyle was like looking at someone from a parallel universe for Saiki and while he doesn’t really hate Walter (in part due to Walter having to learn to stand up for himself), Saiki feels like Walter is trying to stand out for the wrong reasons.
*It was one thing to be like Saiki and begrudgingly put up with wackiness, but it was another to push others around and enforce a sense of normalcy and boredom against the will of others. Walter had to deal with people bossing him around and it took him some effort to find the willpower to call out others in that regard. While it wasn’t that hard to do against regular people, speaking out against far more unusual figures with greater power and resources was far more trouble than what it was worth. In his daydreams, Walter would be able to go up against strange figures such as The Cogs who would enforce a life of boredom onto others or in his more extreme thoughts, be a powerful voice against a tyrannical dystopian regime that would destroy free will. As an ordinary person with a job and some crazy thoughts, the most he could do is keep his distance against such oppressive entities who would see him as a nuisance while voicing his support among more imaginative figures who would go up against these baddies.
*Being a mostly quiet person who was prone to having his mind wander off and think of strange things has made Walter susceptible to getting pushed around by others, but going on an unusual real-life adventure would give Walter the courage to stand up for himself and call out those who previously bossed him around. Whether it’s one’s boss, someone they’re married to, a parent, someone claiming to be a friend, or anyone with ulterior motives claiming to be nice (as was the case when Rapunzel learned the truth about Mother Gothel), there were many who learned to stand up for themselves after a period of time and Walter found himself approving of such people. Bad events like what Shinji Ikari has gone through also play a role in forcing others to stand up for themselves, but some of the end results of such ended up being destructive for themselves and others much to Walter’s dismay. Walter’s daydreams may involve him being far more assertive than normal, but reality requires having to make as good of a point as possible against troublesome people without going too far.
*Walter had a job being an editor for a pulp magazine publisher, which served as some inspiration for the daydreams he has. He decided to continue this line of work looking over adventurous stories and while there were some people who were interested in reading pulpy stories, there was a lot more than just magazines to get these stories out to a wide audience. Among other forms of printed media included manga, which had its own kinds of stories and was read from back to front unlike traditional magazines, and one such mangaka was Rohan Kishibe, who was highly eccentric, always looked for inspiration for what to write, and lived through some outlandish adventures when not crafting stories. While Walter was an editor and not a full-on writer, Rohan mused that someone like Walter who has a strong-enough imagination to have daydreams on a regular basis could be capable of writing stories on his own with enough motivation.
*On the subject of magazines, Walter also had a job as a negative assets manager for LIFE Magazine, at least until the company made the transition to digital and he got laid off when he was initially unable to find a photo to be used for the final print issue. During that time, he worked for respected photojournalist Sean O’Connell, who gave him a photo negative and Walter’s adventure in meeting him in-person resulted in him seeing how interesting the outside world was, even if Walter was a bit annoyed at how Sean handled the negative in question. As enigmatic as Sean was, there were other journalists like Lois Lane who went on even more enticing adventures to the point that some of their adventures wouldn’t be out of place in a daydream Walter might have. Walter got along with some of these photojournalists and has found himself handling the negatives for some fascinating photos that happen in the strange world he’s part of. That said, there were some corrupt journalists such as Louis Bloom who Walter isn’t interested in working for given how they treat their jobs as a means to bolster their own reputation at the expense of others.
