* A group of {{Tykebomb}}s who were savagely put through TrainingFromHell from early childhood by guardians who willingly, callously, and often cheerfully put their lives in danger on a regular basis. As they grew older, they formed a cabal of their own and recruited other lost and wayward children into combat. This includes a demon's daughter, a escaped slave, and a heroin addict. They have the one of the highest fatality rates of their universe's superpowered teams and a grisly hall of statues erected to illustrate this fact. [[spoiler: The ComicBook/TeenTitans, especially UsefulNotes/{{the Bronze Age|OfComicBooks}} edition]]

* An overconfident, misanthropic {{Jerkass}} detective driven by an unrelenting lust for money who only cares for those who suck up to that lust. Any sign they have good intentions is most likely plot-driven, and [[FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse the cause of their behavior doesn't justify the downright callous things they do to the other protagonists]]. * After convincing himself he was someone else, he started executing murderers after smuggling into a city and questioning whether or not his decision to do good things was a good thing. Also the corporate police force keep trying to murder him. His inability to fight back causes him to nearly die multiple times. [[EvilTwin His clone turned evil]] because his pre-amnesiac self thought working alone was the best option, which means he's basically indirectly responsible for the conflict he himself suffers.
