Nightmare Fuel / Versus (2022)

• Every Natural Enemy faction. While their threat varies between each faction, a few common traits among all the Natural Enemy factions is how humanity has absolutely zero hope of defeating them on their own and if they aren't stopped, humanity will either have a miserable existence for all of eternity or go extinct.
  • The first Natural Enemy faction we're introduced to is the Demons faction. While the common demon can be defeated easily by humanity, the sheer number of Demons can easily overwhelm humanity's forces. But the real threat of the Demons are their rulers, the Demon Kings. Hallow experienced firsthand how hopeless it is to fight against a Demon King when he fought Jachi, where nothing he did could hurt the Demon King and he was defeated with very little effort.
  • The Robots are an AI gone rogue, building highly adaptive machines to kill off its creators. It found the best way to do this was with a smile, promising they won't hurt any humans who come out and that all they want is to serve humanity. But the moment they see a living being, they immediately go for the kill. While magic worked on them at first thanks to being non-organic beings with no magic of their own, they prove how adaptive they are by creating a shield that can block magic, showing that no trick will work on them twice.
  • The Giants are massive, violent, humanoid monsters who only see humanity as either slaves or toys. Their size makes the Giant unimaginably strong and tough, so tough that even an orbital bombardment cannot kill them. The human party that intercepted a group of Giants that were about to discover humanity's base are forced to watch as their party is killed one by one by the Giants, who don't even think twice about killing humans because violence is an integral part of their nature.
  • New Humans are an evolved form of humanity, with each member looking like they just came from a fashion show. But the humans from their world are all covered in bandages and are utterly terrified of them, thanks to the New Humans' favorite past-time being to torture their evolutionary predecessors.
  • The Parasites are shown to completely take over the bodies of those it infects, turning them into zombie-like creatures that shamble as bulbous growths appear on their bodies that help spread the Parasites. And they aren't limited to infecting humans either. They're perfectly capable of infecting other living beings, as we see when a dead Giant gets up and rips open its neck to let a Parasite burst out and transform its body into a terrifying abomination.
  • The Aliens are a species called the Madarans. They completely conquered all of space and there's nowhere in the vast universe humanity can go to escape from them. All they can do is try and fight back against them on Earth but the strength of a single Madaran is enough to demolish all the forces humanity built up to fight back.
