Winter's Teeth is a horror comic and full of things that will chill the blood (just like the Kindred like it):
- Cecily murdering Cordell Block's girlfriend in front of him while he is helpless to watch before taunting him that she really did love him is an emotional kind of nightmare.
- Cecily's sister's gradual loss to dementia that leaves her unable to experience life save as a scattered series of memories. Real life is sometimes worse than the monsters.
- Ali drinking a particularly scummy drug dealer dry before being shown his invalid mother in order to drive home a lesson that Even Evil Has Loved Ones.
- The Wolves in Sheeps' Clothing, pictured above, are a group of Body Horror Organ Theft ex-ghouls that harvest the body parts of Kindred to implant into themselves with magic. They look like they come from an entirely different genre than our Gothic Punk antiheroes.
- Elena Kowalski's meat packing plant is a place drawn like a layer of hell where she and her goons dress in S&M gear before planning to torture a bunch of vessels to death. The prisoners are all given ball gags with a hint that this will involve more than just physical torture.
- Calder Wendt ordering Ali to execute a ten year old and bring back proof, which she does using his ear. She spared his life but it's still horrifying.
- Elena Kowalski's husband gets eviscerated with blood magic when he insults the Tremere Prince of the City.
- Ali's sudden but inevitable betrayal when she takes down Cecily Bain once she's distracted.
