Nightmare Fuel / Time Trials

• Anything involving the Bad Future is expected to be this as the world has been ravaged by pollution and a Hopeless War between the dwindling Resistance and the Eggman Empire. It's become so bad that the Resistance fighters react negatively to even mentioning either Eggman's callsign or his real name. Even worse, Omega is fighting on the Empire's side and shows no mercy to anyone, including Shadow.
• When the flooding in Station Square kicks in, Cream nearly drowns in Chapter 4 (Welcome to Station Square) just as many other people throughout the city panic.
• In Chapter 7 (Breakfast Time), Vector has to deal with the flood on his own, and while he saves the people at the diner he was at, his inability to find the waitress described to be Tiara Boobowski that he talked to that the others claimed was never there still haunts him in Chapter 11 (This Horizon).
• Also in Chapter 11, Cream, Cheese, Silver, Blaze, and Vector are all horrified and disgusted when a G.U.N. helicopter is shot down by the Blackguard Pirates.
• Chapter 14 (Vela-Nova) depicts Cream's idealistic impression of pirates take a downturn when the Blackguards begin antagonizing her and her friends.
• Chapter 17 (Taken by the Tides) shows Captain Metal as a sadistic type that scares even his own crew when he puts the hurt on Blaze.
• Chapter 24 (Everything) has the news report of Station Square being flooded reach Vanilla's home, and both she and Chocola are scared of what that means for Cream and Cheese.
• Although Shorty makes light of his own Cybernik experience in Chapter 28 (The Fighters), Bunnie can't help but find his circumstances worse than her own partial Roboticization.
