Main Story

  • Chapter 5: The introduction of Chloe’s werewolf form. A massive beast seven to eight feet tall, more of a horrific imitation of a canine than a giant wolf. It’s clear that most of the girls are outmatched, and even Juleka, who is the strongest monster in their group, has instincts crying out to get the hell away.
    • In her effort to fight Chloe, Juleka ends up having her leg ripped off her body. It’s only because of her vampire nature and Alix’s desperate spell that she was able to survive such an injury.

  • Chapter 25 starts with a trigger warning due to the verbal abuse Chloe goes through from her mother. After Audrey finds out that Chloe is now a werewolf, she continuously insults her canine traits and even treats her as no different than a dog, taking her phone and saying that an animal doesn't need one. She even orders Chloe to turn into a dog so she can forcefully pet her. More disturbed, Chloe is frantically trying to justify her mother's treatment, even subjecting herself to Internalized Categorism.
    • The end of the chapter has Hawkmoth reaching out Chloe's grief and Alix's rage to akumatize him both. At the offer to get revenge and protect the girl she loves, Alix accepts with a twisted grin, vowing to set everything ablaze...

  • Chapter 26:
    • The chapter starts with Sabrina rushing to Chloe's after hearing her distress, only to blast back by the heat from the Akumas Wicked Witch and Little Red. While Little Red (Chloe) is relieved that her friend came, Wicked Witch (Alix) feels that she came too late. Little Red turning Sabrina into a wolf minion is considered a mercy compared to Witch wanting to make her pay with a burn mark.
    • Wicked Witch in general. She’s not only furious at Audrey for the abuse she inflicted on Chloe but also to the rest of Paris for seemingly allowing it to happen. She plans to burn the world and make a new one for her werewolf... and do it again if it isn't good enough.
    • When Juleka calls Alya to see if she and Nino are alright during the Akuma attack, she hears Alya's frantic cries about how a wolf had attacked and turned Nino. Alya warns Juleka to get to safety right as she gets turned.

  • Chapter 31: The gang goes to investigate a series of livestock disappearances when they find a stray horse in a nearby warehouse. Juleka goes to pet it... only for her hand to sink into its neck.
    • Once Juleka pulls her hands off of it, the 'horse' reveals itself to be a Kelpie... with its true form looking like a rotten horse with rows of sharp teeth in its maw. And it tells them how much it'll enjoy eating people as well as monsters like the gang.
    • The chapter goes from From Bad to Worse, as not only to the gang have to deal with the kelpie, but Chloe entering her werewolf form without any of the standard preparations since they didn't account for the month having a second full moon. The syncrhonization from their familiar pact also means that when Alix tries to keep Chloe from changing and spare her the transformation pain, she ends up feeling great amounts of agony that her body isn't used to.

  • Chapter 38: The deers brought back by a Necromancer. Covered in the scent of rot and decay, looking like a sewn-together moving corpse, and a maw of rows upon rows of jagged teeth, which makes a horrified and unnatural sound. Alix and Kagami emphasize how wrong those things are by pointing out the lack of soul they have, treating the zombies as twisted abominations. The Monster Hunters, who were willing to march into the Fae territory once they increased their pay from Roger, all decide to retreat from the woods as soon as they kill any arriving dear.

  • Rose's origin in Chapter 42 can be this for the claustrophobic. After the death of her paladin parents, her village saw her sick and dying self and didn't want her or her family to haunt their graves. Instead, they had Rose buried in a new grave and forced to be their Grim Dog for the rest of eternity. Even worse, they buried Rose while she was still alive, and they all ignored her when she tried to ring that she was still alive.

  • Chapter 45: The gang investigation into a haunted mansion leads them to face pure psychologic torment in the face of the souls trapped there.
    • Alya finds herself without her fox coat, falling into panic and despair as she looks for the room there.
    • Aurora is surrounded by various hands that are trying to grab and violate her, even calling out her name and asking her to join them
    • Sabrina wakes up in a bathroom that starts to fill with water. A dark twisted reflection calls her a fake.
