He looks nice.
Dealing with god-like beings in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise may seem like just your average saving the world plot line. But, this webcomic takes the whole god being thing to a much scarier level.Spoilers are unmarked
- What Sonic went through during his time with the human government. He was forced to work for them and in order to keep him in line, the humans ended up shooting at his feet. This ended up damaging Sonic's feet so much that when Silver tried to heal his feet, he couldn't do it because Sonic's injuries were so bad.
- Zielo is a complete piece of work in this series:
- He was responsible for destroying various realities, which included other universes like the Sonic Boom universe and the Sonic Underground universe. This means that all of those other continuities in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise had never existed because of Zielo.
- There's also the fact that Zielo is willing to kill off his minions if they failed him. One infamous moment was in issue 5 where Zielo questions one of his minions about why they disobeyed him during their takeover of Angel Island. When the minion tried to explain, Zielo ends up ripping off the minion's face, which is shown in graphic detail, and then proceeds to wipe out all of his minions on Angel Island.
- Sonic becoming tainted in issue 11, after accidentally killing his mother. The buildup to this moment is pretty terrifying itself as Sonic slowly starts going through some Sanity Slippage and he charges at Zielo with a sinister look in his eyes. Then the next page shows some blood being splatter and it looked like Sonic succeeded in stabbing Zielo. But then, his face starts to turn to pure horror and sorrow as he sees that he stabbed his mother instead and his mother ends up turning to dust right before his eyes.
- Then we start to see Sonic transforming into his tainted self as he starts gaining Scary Teeth and his eyes start glowing in an unnatural golden glow and he sports a horrific Nightmare Face as his old self starts to disappear before our eyes.
